Sringara Velan is the next scheduled Dileep movie and its shooting is in full swing. It is scripted by Sibi K Thomas and Udaya Krishna – a combination that has proved to be a blockbuster in Malayalam movies. Dileep plays a poor weaver boy who is not interested in the family business. Instead, he tries a number of ways to make a rich girl fall in love with him. Vedhika appears in the lead opposite Dileep. The movie is produced by VS Subhash and is slated to be released next Onam.
